Aaron Paul is addicted to love.
The actor – who will celebrate his first wedding anniversary on May 26 – is still head over heels in love with his wife Lauren, he told PEOPLE at the Open Hearts Foundation's 4th Annual Gala.
"Marriage is the greatest thing that has ever happened. Look how cute she is," he told PEOPLE at Saturday's celebration held at Jane Seymour's Malibu home.
"[The first year has] flown by – blink of an eye. [We're] going strong."

Although Paul wasn't willing to reveal any big plans for their special day, Lauren shared that the couple are "going somewhere fun" to celebrate.
"It'll be an awesome time. It's been an amazing year. It's flown by," she said.
The event honored four people for their inspiring stories, including Lauren for her work with her anti-bullying Kind Campaign.
"I couldn't be more proud of her. I feel so blessed to be able to share this evening with her – let's be honest, I feel blessed to share any evening with her," Paul said.
"The back of my head hurts from smiling so much. I always sit back and applaud her on a day-to-day basis. It's nice to see everyone else applaud her tonight."
And Lauren is doing some applauding of her own – for her husband's big beard, which he admits is for an upcoming movie.
"I love when he has a beard. It's kind of my favorite. It's nice, scruffy, hot. I love it," she said.
